1977 Neve 53 Series

Opinions may differ as to the best sounding mixing console ever made, but few would argue that Rupert Neve designed some of the best and that the golden age of Neve spanned the decade between 1970 and 1980.

At the heart of Snap sits an ultra rare, custom 1977 Neve 53 Series recording console with legendary 33114/33115 mic pre/eq modules featuring the same mic pre as the original 1081.

Our 53 series is a rare recording version of the better-known broadcast desks and features plenty of additional transformer balanced routing - with 28 inputs, eight aux, sixteen groups and sixteen monitors (all with aux's and routable to mix).

Neve 33118/33114/33115 mic pre/eq

The console mic pre/eq modules are based on the legendary 1081, and are considered by many to be one of the finest modules that Neve ever made.
We have 33114/33115 and 33118’s fitted into our console offering slight variations in EQ and tone.
